About LEIA Nigeria

The story, mission, and values of Nigeria's foremost lifting equipment professional body.

Advancing Lifting Excellence Across Nigeria

The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association of Nigeria (LEIA Nigeria) was established to create a unified professional framework for engineers, technicians, and practitioners engaged in the design, manufacture, maintenance, inspection, and operation of lifting equipment across the country.

We operate in every sector where lifting is critical — oil and gas, construction, maritime, manufacturing, utilities, and beyond. Our mandate is to ensure that every lift is planned, executed, and supervised by competent professionals who adhere to the highest safety and technical standards.

LEIA Nigeria maintains strong ties with international counterparts, particularly the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) in the United Kingdom, ensuring our members operate at the global frontier of the profession.
